GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The general business conditions of Benfinal spol. s.r.o., - operation of Grand Hotel Senica *** (hereinafter referred to as the hotel), which are listed below in points I. to XIII. These terms and conditions are a contractual part of the contract you have (the Client). The conditions also apply to future trades, although they will not be explicitly referred to in the specific case. Client terms that have a different wording are invalid. Subsidiary arrangements, changes to agreements or their cancellation must be made in writing and confirmed by the hotel. The Client acknowledges these conditions and by signing it undertakes to observe them.
The client agrees that the hotel in accordance with Act no. 52/1998 Coll. on the protection of personal data processed its data. The hotel can process the provided personal data of the client solely in connection with the provision of accommodation and other services and for foreigners also for the needs of the Alien Police. The Hotel undertakes to take such measures that the personal data of the client cannot be misused.

I. ACCOMMODATION OF PARTICIPANTS - INDIVIDUALS

Rooms are available from 14.00 hrs. on the agreed date of arrival. Bookings of rooms to which the client did not move until 18.00. on the day of the agreed arrival, the hotel can cancel and then book other guests This does not apply if a late arrival has been agreed in writing (mail, fax).Rooms must be handed over to the hotel on the agreed day of departure no later than 10.00, unless otherwise agreed in advance. The hotel may charge 100% of the full price of accommodation due to a late departure from the room. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to guest arrival. The guest's payment card blocks 100% of the amount of the stay. Guest credit cards are pre-authorized by the hotel during the period when the reservation can be canceled free of charge. Cancellation of individual accommodation orders can be made no later than 18:00. 72 hours before the agreed date of arrival. The hotel reserves the right to charge 100% of the amount of the stay that has been canceled due to non-lease of the room (rooms) to other customers. Free cancellation is possible at the latest 72 hours. before 18:00. Upon expiry of this period, the hotel reserves the right to charge up to 100% of the amount of stay.Free cancellation of individual accommodation orders can be made no later than 18.00. on the day before the agreed date of arrival. If this time is not met, the hotel will charge 100% of the full accommodation. 

 

II. ACCOMMODATION OF PARTICIPANTS OF THE GROUP

Unless otherwise agreed in writing with the hotel, the following conditions apply:

 

a) Accommodation with number of persons up to 15 or 5 rooms:

Deposit and Payment:
100% of the total price for accommodation 30 - 15 days before arrival the remaining payment upon departure of the participant.
Cancellation conditions:
Cancellation more than 15 days before arrival free of charge
7 days or less before arrival 50% of the total amount
2 days or less before arrival 100% of the total amount

(b) Accommodation with more than 15 or more rooms:

Deposit and Payment:
100% of the total price of accommodation 45 - 30 days before arrival the remaining payment upon departure of the participant.
Cancellation conditions:
Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival free of charge
15 days or less before arrival 50% of the total amount
5 days or less before arrival 100% of the total amount

III. GUARANTEE OF NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

The client acknowledges that the hotel needs the exact number of participants and the choice of meals for those events where food is served no later than 5 working days before the event. These data are considered as a guaranteed minimum number charged by the hotel to the client. The guaranteed number of persons on the day of the event can be reduced by a maximum of 10% (up to 30 persons) or 5% (over 30 persons). If the guaranteed number of persons is increased by more than 10% (up to 30 persons) or 5% (from 30 persons), please understand that it may not be possible to serve meals in a predetermined order. Orders of food, drinks, cigarettes, etc. beyond this, they will be billed separately.


IV. BETTING OF DRINKS

Unless agreed otherwise, the actual consumption of beverages shall be presented and billed to the client. Complaint after the bill is not possible.

V. REFRESHMENTS, COOKED FOODS AND BEVERAGES

All snacks that are served in the form of buffet tables and which will not be consumed during the designated time period, i. coffee, lunch or dinner breaks will follow EU hygiene and standards no later than 2 hours from the beginning of the service to take away by the hotel staff. Due to strict hygienic procedures and EU standards, the hotel does not allow the hotel to bring and consume the meals brought by the hotel, nor to bring food from the hotel that were exclusively intended for consumption in the hotel. Unless otherwise agreed, there is a strict ban on carrying all kinds of beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to the hotel.In case of violation of this prohibition, the hotel reserves the right to charge a flat fee of 6 € / person for 1 drink for the beverages brought. Furthermore, the hotel reserves the right to charge food that the client cancels or changes 3 days before the event.

VI. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Offered prices are understood to include all taxes and levies as well as servicing, unless otherwise agreed in a particular case. In the case of the introduction of new State levies, these are added to the prices offered. - the invoice is due within 7 days from the date of its issuein the case of late payment, the hotel charges 0.05% of the outstanding amount for each day of delay, starting on the day following the due date of the claim in question - any uncertainties that are denied by the hotel do not have a suspensory character for the execution of the payment or the potential interest accruing on the late payment. 

Payment by credit card can be made both before and after using the hotel services, based on the data provided by the client to make the payment, which the client provided directly to the hotel or one of the accommodation portals through which the accommodation was secure (made). Security deposit (deposit) is charged in the form of pre-authorization (blocking the amount) from the guest card 7 days prior to arrival. The hotel reserves the right to additionally charge the client's credit card for any differences that will be detected after his departure (eg consumption from the mini bar, damage caused, contamination by clients outside the standard, etc.).For events lasting longer than 22.00, the hotel may start from 22.00. charge service based on individual receipts, unless the agreed remuneration takes into account the duration longer than 22.00.

VII. DEPOZIT FOR OTHER SERVICES 

Unless otherwise agreed in writing with the hotel, the following applies: 

a) action with number of persons up to 30: 70% of the total amount for the ordered services no later than 15 days before the event
b) action with number of persons over 30: 70% of the total amount for ordered services no later than 30 days before the event, an additional 50% of the total amount for the ordered services no later than 30 days before the event. In case the deposit is not paid in time, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation without prior notice. The surcharge for the services rendered is due immediately after the invoice has been issued, unless agreed otherwise by written agreement.

VIII. CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLETION

Unless otherwise agreed with the hotel in writing, the hotel reserves the right to charge cancellations according to the following cancellation conditions:

a) action with up to 30 persons:

no fees cancellation 30 - 15 days before the event date: 50% of the total amount for ordered services cancellation 15 - 0 days before the event date: 100% of the total amount for ordered services
cancellation 15 - 0 days before the event date: 100% of the total amount for the ordered services cancellation less than 2 days before the event date: 100% of the total amount for the ordered services.

b) action with number of persons over 30:

cancellation more than 30 days before the event: no fees
cancellation 30 - 15 days before the event: 50% of the total amount for the ordered services cancellation 14 - 7 days before the event: 50% of the total amount
for ordered services cancellation 15 - 0 days before the event date: 100% of the total amount for ordered services cancellation less than 2 days before the event date: 100% of the total amount for the ordered services.

IX. VALUABLE ITEMS

Valuable items, such as cash, jewelry, brought musical instruments, technical instruments and aids, etc., can be handed over to the safe, safekeeping at the hotel reception. Otherwise, the hotel assumes no liability in the event of damage.

X. LIABILITY IN CASE OF DAMAGE

The Client shall be liable for all damages caused by the staff of the Client, its guests or other persons authorized by the Client, and shall compensate the Hotel for the full amount. The hotel is only liable for damages for which the guilt of the hotel is clearly and demonstrably found, however, in no case shall it be liable for damages caused by a third party. The hotel is entitled to require the client to take out appropriate policies.

XI. OTHER ARRANGEMENTS

Music production or other artistic performances, which the client provides himself and which are subject to mandatory reporting, the client must register in advance and in time at the appropriate authorities. All related costs are borne by the client.
Promotional material: The client undertakes to ask the hotel for consent to the placement of advertising materials and decorations. The premises in which the event will take place must not be damaged by advertising or decoration. Assembly work must be carried out by a specialist workforce and must strictly observe all statutory safety regulations. All assembly and disassembly costs are borne by the client.
Rent and space: The agreed rental of premises includes the preparation of the premises and their furnishing with the furniture available in the hotel.
Technology and supervision: if technical work of external companies is required for the event, the costs incurred will be charged to the client. Any external company may only carry out work or changes to the property of the hotel with the written consent of the hotel. For large shares associated with increased energy consumption, these costs are charged to the client separately according to actual consumption at the purchase price. If the technician is required to be present and supervise during the event, each started hour will be charged per worker. If the client uses his own technical equipment, the price for renting the premises will increase by 20%.
Hotel name and logo: use of hotel name or logo for media, print, etc. is only allowed with the prior written consent of the hotel. If the hotel has not been informed in advance, it is at its discretion whether it cancels the action without claiming the other party to reimburse the costs incurred.

XII. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT 

Both contracting parties may withdraw from the contract no later than three months before the agreed date of the organized event without stating the reason and without paying cancellation fees. The Hotel is entitled to terminate the contractual relationship at any time when:
- the action will disrupt the operation of the hotel
- the reputation and security of the hotel and its guests will be compromised
- force majeure or other exceptional circumstances for which the hotel is not responsible make the fulfillment of the contract impossible.
The Client is not entitled to claim damages in these cases.

XIII. OTHER PROVISIONS

1) The hotel is not liable for accidents in leisure programs of any kind, unless the hotel acts grossly recklessly or intentionally.
2) Pets are not allowed in the restaurant. The hotel will accommodate an animal, which the guest can bring only after demonstrating its perfect health condition. The price for placing animals is charged on the basis of the agreed price. The guest / owner or person accompanying the animal is responsible for maintaining the night's rest from 22:00 - 6:00. The owner / owner or person accompanying the animal is responsible for the damage caused to the animal's property.
3) Complaints by guests and possible suggestions for improving the hotel's activities are accepted by the hotel management.
4) Found items are sent to the client by post on the basis of a written request, while the client pays all expenses associated with it. Found items are stored in the hotel for months. Upon expiry of that period, objects of an apparent value shall: hand over to local losses and findings.
5)The facility has a visible fire-fighting order, evacuation plan and evacuation direction from the hotel. Guests are required to follow these instructions during their stay.
6) Stay of customers in the hotel is further regulated by the Grand Hotel Senica ***, which is binding for guests without exception.
7) Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be ineffective or invalid, this does not affect the effectiveness or validity of other provisions.
